Located just about 45 minutes North of San Jose del Cabo (where the international airport is) at the intersection of the East Cape road and the Palo Escopeta Road is the Cross Roads Country Club.  It’s not so much a traditional country club as it is just a neat place to spend an afternoon. 

You’ll find a great restaurant, bar, internet hotspot, public phone and book exchange at the Cross Roads.  This is a great stop along the way to Los Barriles or La Paz and I hear the food is excellent.  Saturday nights are open mike night and often see an impressive turnout.  Often times, patrons will camp right next door after a night of canoodling.  If you get lucky you might even see some celebrities - Lance Armstrong has been here and Jesse Ventura lives right up the street! 

If you’re looking for a change of pace, take a trip to the East Cape and visit the Cross Roads Country Club along the way!
